Unicorn Folk offers a number of FREE listings to the folk community as outlined below.
Entries in the Morris Dance listing are provided FREE by Unicorn Folk in order to support a fine old tradition, part of our folk heritage, subject only to details being submitted in the required format. (Entries/amendments to listings will be accepted no more than 4 times per calendar year – quarterly or otherwise.)
If you wish to add your events to this listing please click HERE for a downloadable form which you should complete and rename using the name of your sides e.g. BedfordMM.xlxs and return by email to info@unicornfolk.uk. Please provide your Morris side’s details at the same time if they are not already listed. To minimise admin please provide as many details of your programme as you can at the first time of asking, or quarterly if more convenient. (Amendments will not be possible for individual events once published as it is too time-consuming, but can be effected as part of a new update subject to a limit of 4 such updates per year.)
Musicians can request a FREE entry on our listing which contains the name of the artist/band along with a brief description and a link to their website of Facebook page. Just complete a short form by clicking HERE.
You don’t always have to go to a concert to hear good live music. Many musicians take part in regular weekly Sessions at pubs around the country and we hope that they will re-emerge when the Covid situation eases. Unicorn Folk are happy to provide a FREE entry in the listings for such gatherings subject only to details being submitted in the required format.

Shall We Dance? Well, the answer to that question may be a matter of finding out where and when you can do so. To help you in this respect, Unicorn Folk are happy to provide a FREE entry in the listings for dance societies which provide a regular programme of events, again subject only to details being submitted in the required format. One-off Ceilidhs or other individual dance events should be advertised in the Unicorn Diary.

The Unicorn Diary is a chronological listing of all categories of music events and advertisers can either pay for events to be listed or they may qualify for a FREE listing(s) by virtue of placing another type of advertisement, typically one which is ‘featured’ on our website in some respect.
If you qualify for a single FREE listing in Unicorn Diary (e.g. a ‘featured’ Festival or a Live Music event) it will be automatically added for you . If you qualify for a number of FREE listings (e.g. ‘featured’ clubs/venues) please complete the Unicorn Diary Entry form which you can download by clicking HERE.
