Unicorn Folk provides a variety of ‘Listings’ for folk fans as shown in the sub-menus underneath the top menu heading. Entries are FREE of charge so feel free to request one as appropriate.
The Unicorn Diary is the main listing and most frequently used covering folk music events for (usually) around 3 months at a time, mainly in the Beds, Bucks, Cambs, Essex & Herts areas, though with significant overlap into East Anglia and Northants and sometimes London, though the latter is most comprehensively covered by the excellent Folk London website and magazine.
The Festival Finder is perhaps the next most significant and is kept as up-to-date as possible, given the uncertainty over many festivals in the current climate. The Gigs & Tours listing is updated as and when information comes to light.
Other listings such as the Sessions, Folk Dance Societies & Morris Sideswere largely inherited from Unicorn Magazine and efforts are being made to update them. If you can provide any updated information please let us know.
TheDance Diary hasn’t really taken off as yet but do feel free to send in entries for your society or Morris side.
